Dissatisfied with the web sites of their school and with lame attempts on the part of companies to create sites for the college market, several students from Amherst College decided to create their own page. Since then, Project Jolt has expanded to Brown and Cornell and will soon be seen at many more campuses nationwide. The success of the sites can be attributed to the fact that each Daily Jolt site is run by students at that
school. Its members work together to innovate the design of the site as well as to tailor the content to each college. The fact that the members are students also means they are flexible and open to feedback. Because each Daily Jolt site is created and run by actual college students, the site is actually useful, interesting, and easy-to-use.
The Daily Jolt is run by Cornell students for Cornell students. If you would like to help
